Where we store data

This page provides an overview of where DigiQuip stores data. As part of our European Software Pledge, we are actively working to move all data storage to European providers. Below you will find information about our current and planned infrastructure.
Current infrastructure
Section titled “Current infrastructure”DigitalOcean
Section titled “DigitalOcean”The majority of DigiQuip’s services are currently hosted with DigitalOcean. All data is located in their Frankfurt (Germany) data centre. Some services also run from their Amsterdam (The Netherlands) location.
Google Cloud (Sånn)
Section titled “Google Cloud (Sånn)”The Sånn product is hosted with Google Cloud in their European facilities.
Infomaniak
Section titled “Infomaniak”We use Infomaniak in Switzerland for object and file storage.
UpCloud (Stemplet)
Section titled “UpCloud (Stemplet)”The Stemplet product is hosted with UpCloud in their Stavanger (Norway) data centre.
DynTube
Section titled “DynTube”We use DynTube (USA) for video hosting. This service is being migrated to Infomaniak VOD.
Planned infrastructure
Section titled “Planned infrastructure”UpCloud
Section titled “UpCloud”We are in the process of migrating the rest of our infrastructure from DigitalOcean and Google Cloud to UpCloud. After the migration, data will primarily be stored in UpCloud’s Stavanger (Norway) data centre. Some services may be located in other European UpCloud locations.
