Branding and profiling
Sånn gives you several ways to brand your content with your own identity. This page provides an overview of the options.
Binder branding
Section titled “Binder branding”Your binder is the first thing users see. You can customise it to reflect your organisation.
Header
Section titled “Header”Available on all plans:
- Name – the binder’s display name
- Description – a short text describing the content
- Banner – a header image shown at the top of the binder
- Logo/icon – your logo or an icon representing the binder
Topic colours
Section titled “Topic colours”- Predefined colours – choose from 20 predefined colours used throughout the binder
- Custom colours – for full brand matching, you can choose your own colours (available on higher plans)
Footer
Section titled “Footer”Show contact information and a tagline at the bottom of the binder (available from Pro):
- Tagline – a short text shown at the bottom
- Phone numbers – contact numbers for your organisation
- Email addresses – contact addresses for your organisation
Video player
Section titled “Video player”The video player can be customised to match your brand:
- Clean player – remove Sånn branding from the player
- Own logo – show your own logo in the player
- Custom colours – adapt the player’s colour theme to your brand
- Embedding – embed the player on your own website (availability varies by plan)
Intro and outro with the ad feature
Section titled “Intro and outro with the ad feature”Another powerful branding tool is using the player’s ad feature to add your own intro and outro videos.
This is especially useful when you upload externally produced content – for example training videos made by a supplier or industry association. With an intro and outro, you make sure viewers always understand who made the content available, regardless of who produced the video itself.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”You create one or more short videos from your own library and configure them as ads in the player settings. These can be set to play:
- Before the video (pre-roll) – introduces the content and sender. Example: “This video is made available by [Company name]. Enjoy!”
- After the video (post-roll) – ends with a call to action or contact information. Example: “Questions? Contact us at [email / phone].”
You can also choose whether the viewer can skip the intro after a few seconds, so the experience isn’t too disruptive for those who already know the content.
Typical use cases
Section titled “Typical use cases”- Establishing your organisation as the clear sender of external content
- Providing contact information alongside training videos
- Communicating important disclaimers or safety reminders before or after a video
- Creating a consistent viewing experience across different content
Intro and outro videos are created in the same editing tool as other content, so they can follow your established brand with logo, colours, and fonts.
Video editing
Section titled “Video editing”When you create videos in Sånn, you can build your brand directly into the content:
Custom fonts
Section titled “Custom fonts”Upload and use your own font in text and titles, so videos follow your visual profile.
Colour palette
Section titled “Colour palette”Define your own colour palette with your brand colours. The palette is available in the editing tool so everyone creating content uses the right colours.
Watermark and logo
Section titled “Watermark and logo”Add your logo or a watermark that appears in your videos. This can be used for:
- Sender identity – makes it clear who is behind the content
- Protection – makes it harder to reuse the content without permission
Templates
Section titled “Templates”Create ready-made templates with your brand – fonts, colours, logo, and layout – so new videos automatically follow your profile. Templates make it easy for everyone in the organisation to create consistent content.
Posters and graphic material
Section titled “Posters and graphic material”The editing tool in Sånn can also be used to create posters and other graphic material with your brand. Contact us if this is relevant for your organisation.
