Video player
Video player decides how your videos look in the apps. The page has two galleries because a binder uses two players: Your own content for videos shown in this binder, and Shared content for what other binders see when you share.
How to
Section titled “How to”Pick a player for each gallery
Section titled “Pick a player for each gallery”- Select a card in Your own content and one in Shared content — the choices are independent. Standard is the built-in player every binder starts with.
- Press Save changes. One save covers both galleries, and your videos switch player straight away.
Build your own player
Section titled “Build your own player”- Press Create your own in the gallery, or Customise if it already has one.
- Give it a name and pick the three colours: Controls, Active / progress and Control bar.
- Turn on Show a logo if you want one — drop in an image, click the corner under Position, and set Size as a percentage of the width.
- Open the Playback, Controls shown and Sharing & embedding groups and switch on what you need.
- Press Save player , then Save changes on the page.
Add an intro or outro video
Section titled “Add an intro or outro video”- Choose When — Before the video, During the video or After the video.
- Pick a video from the binder's finished videos. For During the video also set Offset (seconds).
- Press Add. While building a new player the note says Added when you save the player instead.
Check it before saving
Section titled “Check it before saving”- Press Play preview.
- Watch the sequence — intro, main clip interrupted by any during-videos, then outro. A badge shows Intro, During or Outro as each plays.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- A player can hold one before-video and one after-video, but as many during-videos as you like. Once the single slots are taken, those choices leave the picker.
- Each gallery holds one custom player. Use Customise to change it, or remove it first.
- Only finished videos can be used as intro or outro. If the binder has none yet, the section says so.
- The preview is a mock-up. The real player updates after Save player in the builder and Save changes on the page.
- Leaving the page with unsaved changes asks whether to stay or discard them.
VOD player (admin only)
Section titled “VOD player (admin only)”The card marked Admin only holds the technical Infomaniak configuration: Internal player (own content), External player (shared content), VOD folder ID, VOD meta folder ID and Provision VOD folders. Binder owners do not see it and do not need it — it is set up at onboarding or by support.
