Organize
Organize places content into topics — the structure inside your binder. Available content sits on the left, your topic tree under Organized on the right; you drag from left to right and press Save. Which topics the apps show is chosen on Publish.
How to
Section titled “How to”Create a topic and put content in it
Section titled “Create a topic and put content in it”- Press + Topic at the top of the Organized pane, and give the topic a name. Create sub-topic in the topic's menu adds another level.
- Find the content on the left — search, or select several rows to drag them together.
- Drag it into the topic. A green tick on a file means it is already in at least one topic; hover to see which.
- Press Save.
Take content from a content package
Section titled “Take content from a content package”- Switch the source at the top of the left pane from My content to the package.
- Drag topics or files from it into your own topics on the right. You are placing a reference — the owner's files do not move, and you cannot upload into the package.
- Press Save.
Copy a whole content package
Section titled “Copy a whole content package”- Select the package as the source, then press Copy content package in the left toolbar.
- Review the preview of the resulting structure, and confirm. A new topic mirroring the package is added. The original package is untouched, and you can rename or rearrange afterwards.
- Press Save.
Link a topic to equipment
Section titled “Link a topic to equipment”- Open a saved topic's menu → Link to equipment… → Add link.
- Search for a brand (at least two characters) and select it.
- Choose what the topic covers , and confirm with Link to. The whole brand for content that applies to every model; One model when it only applies to one machine.
The link saves immediately — not with Save. Remove in the same dialog takes it off again.
Unlink an item from a package
Section titled “Unlink an item from a package”- Open the row's menu → Unlink from package. If you have unsaved changes, the dialog offers Save and unlink first.
- Press Save. The item is now yours to edit, and no longer follows the original.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Saving is not automatic. Leaving the page with unsaved changes asks you to Stay or Discard. Moving a published topic warns you first, because it changes what the apps show.
- Content must sit inside a topic — not at root level. Content you have not organized yet stays in the binder under My content.
- Show source labels content that came from elsewhere: Remote is a reference that still follows the original, Local is a copy that does not.
- A topic holds at most one equipment link — one brand or one model. Remove the old one before adding a new one, or split the content into one topic per machine.
- Only published topics can be found from equipment. A link on an unpublished topic is kept and starts working on its own once you publish it.
